Qiddiya City started with a clear intention. A city built around Play Life — not as a slogan, but as a way of living, where e-gaming, sport, culture, and shows exist side by side and influence one another.

How to introduce a city like this before it exists?

If Qiddiya is a city in motion, the opening had to behave the same way.
So the show was built as a journey.

Performers became the first inhabitants, moving through constantly transforming environments — desert into water, speed into sport, sound into movement, individual action into collective play.

To engage an audience shaped by digital worlds, mixed reality became the only viable solution. Digital environments and performers moved as one.

The experience shifted beyond technique, into something closer to magic.
A first experience of the City - an invitation to imagine how play could shape the city of the future.
