Six Flags Qiddiya City
Mixed-reality show
Riyadh, KSA — 2025
Six Flags Qiddiya City marked an important moment for Saudi Arabia and Qiddiya City. For the first time, a world-class theme park experience appeared at home - at a level that previously required traveling abroad.
The opening act needed to prepare guests for what awaited them inside the theme park. It had to work as a TEASER - clear in intention and messaging, but careful not to become a spoiler.
Creative development began with studying the storytelling and theming of the theme park itself. Rather than directly showcasing the attractions or the park’s storyline, the team embraced a theatrical, playful approach, capturing the spirit of the lands and rides without fully revealing them.
The performance worked like a game of hidden clues. You noticed them during the show - the shapes of rides, bold graphic elements, turbines releasing real steam, environments charged with energy generated by performers - and later, while walking through the park, found them again in real life.
This approach allowed the show to highlight a broader idea: Saudi Arabia is entering a new phase, open to bold creative formats and new forms of entertainment, while still grounded in its own identity.
